In today's society more and more regular people are getting tattoos everyday and the same can be said for celebrities. However it is still quite interesting that even though celebrities have tattoos and talk openly about them, when they appear in a TV commercials cover of a magazine the tattoos are suddenly no where to be seen.

Eliza Dushku, who became famous as Faith on the hit TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is staring in a new show on Fox called Dollhouse. To help promote the show Eliza appears on the cover of the latest issue of Maxim Magazine. Ironically, all of Eliza's tattoos are no where to be found on any of her pictures in the magazine. What makes it even more odd is Eliza talked openly to the magazine about her tattoos and how much she loves them.

Here's what Eliza had to say about tattoos:

"I love catching a glimpse of my tattoos when I strip down and take a shower," the actress tells Maxim in its upcoming March issue. "Kat Von D did a beautiful symbolic feather on my ribs."

She also adds that she loves for her man to have a few tattoos of his own.

"I like guys who play hard and have calluses on their hands," she tells the magazine. "Any guy who's been raised in a bubble hasn't lived enough for me. Scars and broken body parts and tattoos are hot."

It just goes to show that even men's magazine filter out what they believe to be sexy. However, when Megan Fox posed for the mag they left her tattoos in tack.

Keira Knightley has been accused of being anorexic by the media, along with other actresses, and actually fought and won a settlement in a lawsuit which implied her slender body may have been the cause of a teenage girl who died from anorexia.

Anyway, a contest was conducted a while back that had contestants photoshop actresses and make them look anorexic, to see what they would look like if they were.

Of course with all the negative publicity around Keira Knightley being anorexic, many images and photos came in showing her that way. Here are a couple of them which look very weird, so say the least.

Now we have the Grim Reaper starring in his own tattoo, with his harvested souls behind him looking to see who's next in line.

Also when you look down his robe, near the bottom you see more souls that aren't as easy to pick out. It's like he's in a soul harvesting mode and he's getting a whole bunch at once.

But as far as the tattoo goes, this is really well done, as many Grim Reaper tattoos surprisingly are. As an overall group, they're among the best I've seen; as far as each individual tattoo and its quality.

Now this is a first for me, and looking at this guy roller skating down a roller coaster makes me a little queasy.

But if you've got the stomach for it, this would be a blast, and I bet the speeds he attains are extraordinary.

No matter, you won't find me following in his footsteps, but it would be a lot of fun to watch, as he would be moving in a way that would be really entertaining to see.

This skull tattoo on the neck is one of the more stranger I've come across, and it really is done very good, if you can think of it in that way.

My first thought was how painful that sensitive area had to be to get that tattoo.

As far as the tattoo itself, my favorite part is the elongated look below the teeth of the skull, which make it look like his neck is stretching out. Pretty effective.

I do wonder what this looks like when he holds his neck down.

Rue Morgue's graphic designer Justin Erickson has created horror pin-up collection that is very macabre and dark, while trying to retain something of beauty in the midst of the ghoulish presentation.

Rue Morgue, for those no familiar with it, is a horror magazine with a rabid fan base of core followers.

Erickson's work almost always combines a sense of vintage mixed with monsters to create some interesting combinations.

As you can see from these photos and video, he is anything but conventional.

The Psycho Cyborgs, with Samppa Von Cyborg is one of the most bizarre group of people and entertainers I've ever seen. They take things to the absolute limit in their so-called performance, and everything you see is done.

Included with their act are electric currents, needles, screw and hooks, among other things, and it's as weird and strange as it sounds, as you can see from the photos, which are tame in comparison to some of the others you can see here.

Evidently the goal of the group is to recreate the feel of a brutal slasher film, giving it a look or reality to the audience.

People have quit the troupe because of the actual pain needed to endure their hard core tricks.

I was surprised when looking around at wedding ring tattoos at how many there are out there. My thought was I would find a few, but the number of them was amazing.

Anyway, here's a couple of them that look pretty good, although the time people spend together seems to be less and less, and the general permanency of a tattoo doesn't seem to go with that idea.

But you can get rid of a tattoo of course, although it's not cheap, and the area of the finger can be a somewhat painful and sensitive spot to be tattooed in, or to have it removed.

It seems like the people getting these have faith in lasting a long time, and that's a good thing.

This zombie wedding celebration is just plain strange, but it is interesting.

I like all the bridesmaids and best man and the others entering into the zombie spirit and playing their parts as well.

I wonder what inspires a morbid wedding of this sort? You would think the opposite of death would be the theme, but you never know when it comes to what makes people tick.

Evidently this couple are fans of zombie stories and themes, or they're just waaay out there. Either way, they definitely got attention from their zombie nuptials.
