Dear readers of sport&beauty. Today we’re going to deal with one of our favorite topics, Brazilian models. Our post is going to be dedicated to one of these Brazilian gorgeous women that show off their good looks on the catwalks and magazines worldwide. I really love them. The model we’re presenting today is one of the youngest and most promising members of the new breed of Brazilian models. Here you are some clues so you can make an educated guess. She’s younger than Cintia Dicker, Caroline Trentini, and Jeisa Chiminazzo. She started her modeling career in 2005. She’s appeared several times in such important fashion magazines as L’Officiel, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Glamour and starred in ad campaigns for D&G and Levi’s. Do you already know who she is? Bingo. Today’s post is dedicated to Brazilian model Monique Olsen. Here you are Monique Olsen, a real Brazilian stunning beauty.
Monique Grotto Olsen was born on September 2, 1990 in Lages, Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. From a very early age, Monique Olsen started to stand out for her beauty and in 2003 she ranked second in the Brazilian “Riachuelo Mega Models” contest. We have to admit that this contest is not as important as the “Ford Models” but, at least, she got off to a good start. In 2005 and aged fifteen, Monique Olsen signed a contract with Women Management agency and made her debut walking for Calvin Klein’s Fall fashion show in New York. In the same year, Monique also walked in Milan for Jil Sander‘s 2005 Fall collection and Anna Molinari, Dolce & Gabbana, Just Cavalli, Missoni, and Salvatore Ferragamo’s 2006 Spring collections. Finally, in December 2005 Monique appeared in Vogue Italy photographed by Maciel Kobielski. What beautiful legs she has!!!
2006 was also a frantic year for the beautiful Monique Olsen. She started in New York walking for Alice Roi, Cynthia Steffe, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore, Rodarte, Tacón, and Vera Wang’s 2006 Fall collections and appearing in Neiman Marcus catalog. Our Brazilian stunner also starred in Stussy’s Fall ad campaign and, in September, walked in New York for 3.1 phillip lim, Alexander Wang, Catherine Malandrino, Diesel, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and United Bamboo’s 2007 Summer fashion shows. Like the previous year, Monique Olsen also appeared in Vogue magazine photographed this time by Peter Lindbergh. As the icing on the cake, Monique Olsen was chosen by Vogue Italy as one of the models to follow in 2006.
Monique Olsen began 2007 appearing in the beauty editorial of the February issue of “Spur” magazine and walking in London and Milan for Allegra Hicks, Amanda Wakeley, Antonio Berardi, Christopher Kane, Nicole Farhi, Roksanda Ilincic, and Just Cavalli’s 2007 Fall collections. Back to fashion magazines, she appeared in Marie Claire Brazil (May), L’Officiel (June), and Elle Brazil (August). In September the tireless Monique Olsen returned to the runway in New York walking for Adidas by Stella McCartney, Naoki Takizawa, Antonio Berardi, Diane von Furstenberg, and Heatherette’s 2008 Spring fashion shows.
Let’s move on to 2008. In February, Monique Olsen walked for Adidas by Stella McCartney, Agnes B, Amanda Wakeley, Antonio Berardi, Biba, Custo Barcelona, Felder Felder, Heatherette, Naoki Takizawa, Requiem, Rodnik, Vivienne Westwood, Chado Ralph Rucci, Twinkle, and Yeohlee’s 2008 Fall Winter collections. She appeared again in the Brazilian magazine L’Officiel photographed by Eduardo Rezende and in “Vogue” and “Elle” Brazil. Here you are Monique Olsen’s data and measurements:

n 2009, Monique Olsen walked the runway in New York for Project Runway, Chado Ralph Rucci y Chris Benz’s 2009 Fall collections and Platinum for Priscilla and Aria’s 2010 Spring fashion shows. Out of curiosity, do you know what Monique Olsen wants to do when she retires from the fashion world? She wants to become a fashion journalist. Ok Monique, you can start by buying the books and enrolling at a University because it usually takes some time to finish a degree. Anyway I have to admit that if I had to teach her, she would probably get the highest grades in my class. Anyway she shouldn’t take it for granted. Perhaps it would be better for me if she failed the exam so she had to come and review her exam in my office. To conclude, I’ll leave a slideshow with the best pictures of Monique Olsen and some videos so you can see this Brazilian stunner showing off her good looks. Best regards.
