Spider Web Tattoo in Ear

Spider Web Tattoo

This is a really amazing tattoo, but my first response was "wow," that had to hurt.

But that spider web tattoo in the ear and then the spider tattoo just below the ear is really cool, and among one of the more unique spider tattoo and spider web tattoo designs I've ever seen.

One thing I don't like? That snake on the neck just doesn't fit with the spider tattoo design to me, and it would have looked better without it. Otherwise, an amazing spider web tattoo.

Tattoos | Back Skeleton Tattoo

Tattoos

When I first looked at this skeleton tattoo on this guy's back, I first thought it was probably a photoshopped image, based on looking at his glasses on his head from behind. As you can see, the glasses are clear when wearing them on his head, and dark when in the mirror.

I think what he did was hide his identity - for whatever reason - by photoshopping the image in the mirror, but not the image on his back, so there's a good chance this may be a real skeleton tattoo.

Assuming it is, it is a really cool skeleton tattoo, and would have been extremely difficult and time consuming to ink on. The detail in the vertebrae area would have been especially hard to do.

Great Tattoo by Kat Von D of DJ AM Portrait

Tattoos

I've always found it a little weird when people tattoo dead people or pets on their bodies, but I do understand the reasoning behind it.

In the case of the recent passing of DJ AM, his friend DJ Fashen went to tattoo portrait great Kat Von D and had DJ AM's portrait inked on his forearm out of respect.

Kat Von D did her usual great job, as you can see in the photo, and the design and likeness is as good as it gets.

And in case you think this is easy, doing tattoo portraits on the forearm isn't an easy thing to do in placement and the right proportions, but Kat Von D nailed this one. Great tattoo of DJ AM.

Extreme Face Tattoos

Extreme Tattoos

Tattoos which cover the face and neck are among the most extreme when considering the social consequences of the practice, and so those committing to it take big chances and risks to be inked on the face.

Here are a couple of new facial tattoos I found that I haven't seen before. While they're two completely different styles, they still do the same thing: create an instant barrier between many people and the bearer of the art.

Although they're both odd in looks, the tattoo photo on the top seems somewhat dark, as well as the guy wearing it.

Tattoos of Mario and Luigi on Bottom of Feet

Tattoos

These tattoos of Mario and Luigi bring the initial response of Ouch!, as the bottom of the feet are extremely sensitive, and the pain much have been tough to deal with.

I wonder what the guy doing this was thinking, because about the only place people could see these would be if they saw him laying in bed or he was laying on the beach with them propped up.

When he does lay down it does give a cool look, which is hard to see real clearly because of the poor lighting in the photo of them together. I guess he got his 15 minutes of fame and has evidently been paid back for his experience.

Extreme Tattoos | Horror Tattoos from Major Films

Extreme Tattoos

Here's an interesting sleeve tattoo of some of the more notorious film horror stars, and they're done very well by the tattoo artist.

I wish I could have seen several different views of the tattoos, as they each look like they're really cool.

But as you can see from the photo, Chuck looks very realisitic, and the tattoo designer and artists captured the evil connected to him.

Tattoos of Carey Hart

Tattoos

Not too long ago Carey Hart was photographed at his legendary Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company, where it made its way on the web, showing all the great body art on his chest and arms.

I like that car with the Hart license plate on his stomach. Very cool.

The viva Las Vegas is also nice at the bottom of his stomach, where his tattoo is located within the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in sin city.

Extreme Tattoos | Breast Implants

EXtreme Tattoos

This is a wild one. Who thinks of breast implants and then having a woman inked on your body with them? Somebody does, as that's what this guy did on his calf.

Breast implant part of the tattoo aside, I actually like the hat covering her head and the mysterious covering of her eyes.

I know, you're more interested in the bottom and middle of breast implant tattoo, but the overall effect of it as a whole is pretty cool.

American Patriotic Tattoos

Patriotic Tattoos

In the spirit of America's independence day, here are a couple of tattoos that look great and offer up the spirit of the day.

How can you go wrong with a beautiful woman wrapped in a flag and Captain America representing the celebration?

Great Full Back Tiger Tattoo

Tiger Tattoo

Tiger tattoos are a challenge to have made because the form of the tiger isn't as fluid and flexible as other tattoo figures and themes.

I prefer the black and darker colors for tiger tattoos, as it brings out something in a way that the usual orange and reds just don't do.

This tigger tattoo on this man's back is on of the best I've seen. It's hard to surround tigers with extras because in most cases it just doesn't work well.

In this one though I think it's captured almost perfectly. You have the desirable tiger teeth and fierce eyes looking out of the jungle, while the moon and trees are seen in the background.

Personally, it's one of the, if not the, best tiger tattoo I've seen.

Tattoos| The Ultimate Geek Tattoo

Tattoo

I loved this tattoo of the feedburner symbol inked on this guys stomach. It's the only one I've ever seen like this, and it's so geeky it's almost cool.

It just goes to show you, that in some cases the more you show your inner geek, possibly you could translate into someone with something cool to show for it. Then again, maybe not.

Now the problem is what happens if he outgrows his geekhood? Now he has the major problem of getting something that big removed.

Oh well, maybe once a geek always a geek, and it's irrelevant. Either way, I thought it was pretty unique. Pretty funny - the "feed me" words.

Tattoos | Chinese Dragon Tattoo on Man's Back

Dragon Tattoos

I really liked this Chinese dragon tattoo, specifically the black lines and ink, which I prefer in most tattoos.

Dragon tattoos are probably the most popular at this time, because of the versatility of the dragon theme, works very well with both men and women, with the lines, patterns and tattoo designs fit both body types well.

This doesn's mean I don't like the very colorful dragon tattoos, just that those like the one in the photo seem to rock way better.

Get a pain free tattoo.

Bizarre Tattoos | Skull Tattoos on Man with Mohawk Hair Style

Bizarre Tattoos

Here's a tattoo that is really out there. The tattoo of the skulls on his head are really well done, as far as quality goes.

What I do like about his strategy for tattoos is he was able to put on his head a tattoo he really liked, but if he has a need to, he can grow his hair back and cover it up.

It's something a lot of people getting tattoos don't consider, and in this case he was really smart in doing that.

Anyway, a great and unusual tattoo and placement. That mohawk adds a little to it as well.

Bizarre Tattoos | Full Body Zombie Tattoos

Bizarre Tattoos

Most of us have seen the image of 'zombie' with his face looking straight at us, but here's a few that haven't been seen as much of his full body zombie tattoo.

I guess he could get parts in a movie or something like that to make a living, but what else would he do? That's the case with a lot of people that take tattooing to the next level.

It's one thing to get a zombie tattoo, but as you can see, it's another thing to get tattooed as a zombie. Pretty interesting.

Tattoos | Eliminating or Reducing the Pain of Being Tattooed

Tattoos

There are a number of concerns people have when either deciding to have their first tattoo, or whether to add more ink to their bodies. One of those major concerns is the pain associated with the procedure.

While a lot of men and women try to make it look like enduring the pain is part of the process, that's not really too smart when you think of it.

Unless you want to feel pain, the point of getting a tattoo isn't to endure the pain to prove something, you're getting a tattoo for a much different reason, which, depending on the individual, could be any one of a number.

The question of course becomes, why endure tattoo pain when you don't have to? The answer is you don't. There are a number of tattoo products on the market you can get relief from pain, and I'll show you where the best one is in a moment.

When you're thinking about getting your first tattoo or adding more ink to your body, a major consideration is the place you're going to have it put.

While there will be pain associated with being tattooed no matter what, the intensity of that pain will be determinded for the most part by where the tattoo is being placed.

Obviously we have much more sensitive spots in our bodies than other parts, and we must remember that when being tattooed.

There's nothing macho or impressive about being tattooed in pain, and there is no reason to have to endure that.

Oh yeah, you know why many people get tattooed in that way? They're either drunk or high, and with their sense dulled, make the arbitrary decision they're going to get a tattoo.

Any respectable tattoo shop or artist shouldn't do the work when someone is that state, but unfortunately, many still do. Imagine waking up to your body having tattoos you don't even remember having done, or vaguely remember a little of it?

Back to the tattoo pain subject. The point is why go through pain when you don't have to?

When you go here for tattooing pain relief, you will be able to get your tattoo without feeling the unnecessary pain many people have endured without needing to.

Tattoos | Temporary Tattoos - A Tattoo Option for Those Who are Uncertain or Concerned

Tattoos

With the growing popularity of tattooing, many first timers are hesitant to take the plunge because of the many stories connected to getting inked; like the pain, mistakes, dangers, health concerns, what if you don't like it, etc.

One thing I've recommended to people is first of all to go the temporary tattoo route.

The reason why is the first thing you want to know before you ever get a tattoo is whether you want to wear one or not. How can you ever know without trying it on for size?

You could of course look at friends, acquaintances, or just through others with photos to get an idea. But when it comes down to it, being tattooed is very personal, and only you can decide whether it's right for you and gives you the look, feel and experience you were hoping for.

What is valuable about being temporarily tattooed is you can experiment with a lot of different types and looks, while putting them on different parts of your body over time. This would not only let you see how it would feel to have one permanently on your body, but see the placement you like the best, and how people respond to you.

Don't underestimate the response factor, that is definitely part of the overall experience of being tattooed, and must be taken into account when making a final decision.

Another thing you could do is try temporary tattoos on different parts of your body at the same time to see if they mesh, or if you like multiple tattoos. Some like it and some don't, and it's definitely not for everybody.

Some people even like to live a lifestyle of being temporarily tattooed, as it gives all sorts of options, like not even having one at certain events or circumstance, or being playful and overdoing it to get a reaction from friends, family and colleagues.

Either way, you can have one style tattoo on one part of your body and change it around the next time you need or want to say or show someone in a certain social situation.

So if you're thinking of going the tattoo route but aren't completely sure or want to give it a test run, temporary tattoos are definitely the way to go to see if it's something you want to do permanently.

Or you may just discover it's a lot of fun having different looks at different times, and so embrace a temporary tattoo lifestyle.

One other thing, temporary tattoos can also be used to work with existing permanent tattoos for those who don't want too much ink on their body for different reasons.

So you could use some to enhance what you have, or to just add a little more for a short time to give yourself a specific look.

Whatever your reasoning, temporary tattoos are definitely an important part of the overall industry, and you can use them in a number of circumstances and purposes without the concerns or challenges that must be faced when making permanent tattoo decisions.

If you're interested in trying out some temporary tattoos, here's a place you can go with a ton of tattoos you can choose from.

Tattoos | Latest Book from Spider Web: "The Big Book of Tattoos" Now Available

Tattoos

Tattoo fans will enjoy the latest book from none other than Spider Webb, which has just released "The Big Book of Tattoos," covering a ton of retro tattoos back to the earliest times when they could be photographed, through the 1970s.

Along with the expected navy tattoos, are tattoos covering circus entertainers from that day, and the women who started going against the grain and getting inked far before it was considered acceptable.

Much of the tattoos of that time expressed a lot about life and the deeper feelings had by many then, including their ancestry, religion and love.

If you want to get it quick, I left a link below to where you can find it.

Extreme Tattoos | Square Tattoos on Man's Face and Body

Extreme Tattoos

What would your reaction be to seeing this guy which black and white square tattoos all over his face? My initial reaction is - break out the checkers.

Hey, without a board anywhere, you could ask him to put his face down sideways so you could play a game. Hehe.

Ok. I had to get that out of the way and say it. But really, I wonder what his reasoning and purpose behind this one is? He must love playing checkers or chess, or else otherwise - why?

There are a lot better ways a person could put tattoos on their body than this. I guess only the people deciding things like this can give us the answers

Tattoos for Women | Ladies and Extreme, Bizarre and Odd Tattoo Pics and Images

In recent studies it has been found that women and men are very close in how many have tattoos inked on their bodies; only a couple percentage points separate the number that are tattooed.

When you look at the women that are tattooing, you also find that many of them, like their male counterparts, are entering into extreme tattooing, and in many cases cover their bodies with them.

One of the key women behind all this, and one that has made it very popular, is of course Kat Von D, who with her appearances on television has brought tattooing for women more mainstream.

So women, even many older women that are grandmas have extreme tattoos or their bodies covered with tattos. Some of the tattoos are just plain weird, either that or the number of them are weird.

One problem women with extreme tattoos have is as they grow older, they lose the sexy part of having tattoos, and they increasingly become considered trailer trash; something most women should consider before entering into tattooing their bodies.

Another thing to keep in mind is you really can't change your mind about tattoos, as even though they can be taken off, the process can make your skin look as bad as when the tattoos were on. Some ink colors are also harder to take off than others.

So if you want to remove your tattoos, and if they're in places on your body or face that will be seen by everyone looking at you, it is important to think of the overall picture before plunging in.

I also advocate trying out some temporary tattoos before making a decision to do something permanent. As a matter of fact, having temporary tattoos can be just as satisfying and creative as permanent tattoos, and even more creative because temporary tattoos offer the opportunity to manage the tattoos according to the circumstances you're going to be in, as well as offer a lot more variety to have fun with, because you can change them whenever you want to.

Where permanent or temporary tattoos, there are tons of tattoo designs for men or women, and whatever lifestyle you choose to live or message you want to say, there's always a way to do it through tattoos.

There's also a tattoo for every part of your body, from back tattoss to neck, leg, ankle ... or wherever you want to put a tattoo, there's style and design to meet your wants and needs.

You can look through tattoo pictures, tattoo galleries and tattoo books to get an idea, as there are literally thousands upon thousands to choose from. Don't just pick the first one you like, take time to go through a number of possibilities before plunging in.

There are a ton of tattoo pics, so take your time, there's no hurry. And if you're going to put a tattoo on permanently, you owe it to yourself to make sure you'll be happy with it.

One thing to keep in mind with tattoo images, is in reference to tattoo lettering or tattoo phrases or names. You know the horror stories of people putting the name of a boyfriend or girlfriend, or something they want to say on their bodies, and then they lose the boyfriend or girlfriend, or move on or stop believing in a cause or something like that, then they're stuck with something that is not only not relevant to their lives anymore, but which reminds them day after day of something they'd rather forget.

So before committing to a tattoo image or picture, whether lettering, words or phrases, make sure the permanency of the ink reflects the permenency of what you believe or who you love.

If you don't removing tattoos is a more painful and costly procedure than having them put on, and they leave a permanent mark, even if the ink is removed. It's best to simply not do it in the first place. You'd be surprised how many name tattoos there are out there that people desparately want removed, but can't afford it or don't want to go through the process.

So if you're thinking or getting a tattoo, there are a lot of places you can look at to get a tattoo idea.

Pics of tattoos can be found on tattoo websites, which will include tons of tattoo galleries and cool tattoo designs. Along with photos, you can also find tattoo drawings, which can give you ideas to design your own tattoo if you choose.

If you enjoy looking at tattoos while relaxing, you can also find a number of tattoo magazine and tattoo books, which of course have very high quality photos you can look, either to get ideas or just for the fun and enjoyment of the art.

So whatever you're looking for and wanting to find concerning tattoos, there's the easy and fast access to tattoo sites, where tattoos galleries and pics are abundant and easy to access.

Whether websites, magazines, TV or books, tattoos can be found everywhere in whatever medium you choose, and tattoos pics that will give you the ideas you need will provide you with more than enough information to make a intelligent decision.

Tattooing | Making Tattoo Decisons Which Affect the Rest of Your Life

Tattooing

Many times those who make quick decisions about tattoos don't really think things through, and can do long-term harm to themselves, whether they regret the decision or not.

There's no doubt the more extreme tattooing you get, the more limitations you put on a number of areas of your life; including jobs and available dates and potential marriage with the opposite sex.

Even if someone wishes to remove a tattoo, it can cost a lot of money, and if you foolishly put it on your face like this guy did in the photo, to remove it would not make you look very good, and would make it worst than keeping it.

Less ambitious and less noticeable tattoos have to be thought through too, as they speak to who you are, and depending on your age or sex, may not be the most flattering message you send about yourself.

Anyway, hopefully you won't make tattooing decisons when you're high or drunk, as that's when the most damaging results can happen.

I may be best to try out some temporary tattoos before tattooing permanently, as you'll see what it looks like, and whether you want to carry that on your body the rest of your life.

Tattooing
