Chris Brown


He is the son of Joyce Hawkins and Clinton Brown. She started dancing at the age of two years. He was influenced by artists he heard on the radio from their parents such as Michael Jackson, Usher, Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway and Aretha Franklin.

Their debut album sold nearly 300,000 copies in its first week.

The album's first single, "Wall to Wall", debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at # 96 and peaked at # 79 and # 22 on Billboard's Top R & B / Hip-Hop. "Kiss Kiss", the second Exclusive single was produced by T-Pain and sung by him with Chris. "Kiss Kiss" became a hit, surpassing the success of "Wall to Wall", reaching # 1 in the USA December 4, 2007, Brown released the third single, entitled "With You" a song produced by Stargate. To support the album, Chris Brown began his The Exclusive Holiday concert tour, visiting more than thirty locations in the U.S.. He began the tour in Cincinnati, Ohio, on 6 December 2007 and ended on 9 February 2008 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Since 2008, Chris began working on his next studio album. Chris Brown said "I wanted to change it up and really be different. Like my style nowadays, I do not try to be typical urban. I want to be like how Prince, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder were. They can cross over to any genre of music. "

On 10 February 2009, Chris Brown discussed very violently with his then current girlfriend, Rihanna proportion a brutal beating and left her injured in the vehicle as he fled. It is the first time in Chris's career in which he has a violent incident, and was known as a nice guy and always well treated fans and staff.

On 22 June 2009 was convicted of beating and threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend Rihanna and thus was sentenced to five years probation and pay 200 days of community service.
